A Block Panchayat is a body of elected representatives formed to manage the administrative affairs of Panchayat Raj institutions. The main components of a Panchayat are:President: The head of the Panchayat. They preside over meetings and supervise the overall functioning of the Panchayat.Vice President: Discharges the duties of the President in their absence.Ward Members: Elected representatives from each ward of the Panchayat.Standing Committees: Formed for areas such as finance, development, welfare, health, and education to facilitate and streamline the decision-making process of the Panchayat.
